We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, Name, date of birth, address and contact details.
  • Data regarding any declared disabilities that may affect the ability of the participant to box.
  • Reports from England Boxing approved Doctors.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for Club membership

We use the information that you have given us to: -

  • Keep you informed of activities within the club.
  • Ensure relevant consent has been obtained.
  • Ensure boxers are up to date with relevant medical and administration policies as per England Boxing Guidelines
  • Emergency contact details

We may share this information with England Boxing

  • England Boxing Medical Forms

Training and competition entry

  • Share data with club coaches or officials to administer training sessions
  • Share data with club team managers to enter events
  • Share data with facility providers to manage access to the gym or check delivery standards
  • Share data on the matchmaking data base to match bouts and enter event

Funding & reporting purposes

  • Anonymised data shared with a funding partner as a condition of grant funding e.g Authority
  • Anonymised data analysed to monitor club trends

Membership and club management

  • Processing of membership forms and payments
  • Share data with committee members to provide information about club activities, membership renewals or invitation to social events
  • Publishing of bout and competition results
  • Website management

Marketing and communications

Use of imagery for club promotion including social media and Club website.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored.

Paper records are securely stored until digital copies have been made. Paper records no longer required are then shredded.

Digital copies are stored using Drop Box which has built in security measures for the protection of your data.

We keep paper records (which cannot be digitalised) and digital records for the duration you are a member of the club + 3 years. We will then dispose of your information by shredding paper records and deleting digital records.
