Over the years, popularity and demand for St Mary’s Amateur Boxing Club has increased. This demand has seen us need to move from the old premises behind Chatham Town Hall to our current site in Street End Road in Chatham.

Having been at our current site for nearly 80 years it is time to find other premises. Unfortunately, we are currently short of our target so we are actively looking for sponsors and people looking to help fund our move.

We are looking for support in the way of funds to help continue our success and help fund the future of our club.  Any funding help that can be put towards our move would be greatly appreciated and would allow us to continue the good work we have been doing for the last 90 years.

If you would like to talk to a member of our committee about possible funding or support, you can come and see us at our club at 1 Street End Road, Chatham Kent ME5 0BS. Alternatively, please contact our club secretary at

Our boxers travel the length and breadth of the Country in our clubs mini bus, wearing club tracksuits . This coupled with our social media provides sponsors with various advertising streams.

St  Mary's Amateur Boxing Club is a nonprofit organisation that works with children, young adults and seniors to provide a safe and friendly environment for them to participate in physical activity and learn core values to develop into kind and considerate members of the local community.

We cater for keep fitters, recreational boxers and those that wish to progress into competitive boxing.

We host community sessions for those who suffer from Parkinson's and offer free curriculum vitae and interview preparation for our boxers and their guardians.

In August 2023 one of our 16-year-old boxers was selected to represent England and travelled to Romania where he won the European Championship.

Any funding is greatly appreciated.
