The Magnificent Seven March on to the Southern County Finals

St Marys Boxers represented  Kent V Surrey in the National Schoolboy Finals in Camberley Today.

First up today was Joe Hickford class 1 under 42 KG against the more experienced T Doherty (Mole Valley) Joe showed real grit and determination against his opponent and was just edged out on points in a nail biting clash, Joe secured the Kent Title last week in his first National Competition so one to watch for the future a great achievement well done Joe.

Second into the ring was Billy Eastwood class 2 under 38KG against S Reid (Turners) after his win the previous week Billy had to dig deep and stay focused and boxed his way to another victory. A good calculated performance Billy well done.

Third to box today was Lewis Southgate class 2 under 42KG against J West (woking) Lewis was quick to dominate the bout and over powered West and swiftly put his opponent out of the competition with a strong performance. A convincing win Lewis and again well done.

Kallum Tindall class 3 under 38KG went straight through to the Southern County Finals when his opponent pulled out at the last minute.

Levi Lewis, Sam Perfect , Tom O Sullivan and Joe Tindall also go through on walk overs to make “The Magnificent Seven” book their places in Hampshire on Sunday 27^th January

The Saints march on to the Southern County Finals in Gosport next week
