Good News stories

Date: Wed 2nd November 2016

I went along to the ‘Rayliegh Mill’ venue on Saturday 29th October, for an ABA evening of entertainment as an infrequent visitor.  And I have to say how impressed I was by your team.   Firstly, by the turn-out of your members, not only in their appearance, but also by the way they conducted themselves, with dignity and their overall behaviour.  They are a credit to you, themselves and the St. Mary’s Boxing Club as a whole.

Secondly, getting onto the younger team members who participated on the night, I can only say how impressive they all looked in the ring.  The poise, balance and control they all showed during their performances, were a joy to see.  Something many of their adversaries would do well to try and emulate.  You appear to have a very fine training program that other clubs would benefit from in their development of young people.   It was a very good evening.  - Thank You.

I hope you don’t mind my dropping you a line, but I felt compelled to let you know and thought you needed to be made aware, of how the ‘Whole Team’ and ‘Coaching Staff’ came over to joe public (well, one of them anyway).

Thirdly, as I have already mentioned, I was really impressed by the professionalism with witch the whole team conducted themselves and would hope your Sponsors - Portal Financial Services Ltd -  are made fully aware of the value for money they are receiving for their investment in the future of the sport.

Hi Again, Jerome.

I saw Adam and his mother today and they told me he came to your club last Saturday and that he absolutely loved it and will be coming back next week. She was also very complimentary about Dan and the positive impact he has already had on Adam, so please can you convey thanks to him and thanks to yourself for your advice – we are all really pleased with the outcome so far.

Kind regards,
