St Mary's Boxing club in Chatham, have a new European champion in 16 year old Paul Coyle. 

Coyle followed up from winning the national junior championship in March paul was selected to box for England in romania where Paul has had to boxed 5 times within 9 days to gain gold, beating high level opponents from Greece,Georgia,Wales,Romania and a European champion in the finals from Armenia,

 

Paul has shown it all during this competition mixing it with the best, his shown high level of boxing and work rate throughout the Europeans and its showed within the decision and lead to being crowned no1 in Europe, this is a huge achievement as not many boxers wins the European competition in only 19 bouts, rewind 12 months he was only a 1 bouter boxer, so all has been achieved in a very short period,
