Clarification of the status of the club

In the last week or so, it has come to light that there as been some uncertainty in the local community, as to whether or not St Marys Boxing club in Chatham is closing! Just to clarify, St Marys Boxing club is open and the upcoming fundraising events are pro active measures, in preparation for funds needed to build the new premises on the plot of land that has been purchased at Shipwrights Avenue, Chatham. The club is currently at the second stage of applications for several large funding pots. If successful, this will provide the green light to start building the new state of the art facility and secure the future of the only charity Boxing club in Medway. St Marys has been serving the Medway community for over 90 years and plans on continuing to do so for many more years to come!
