Due to latest government and England Boxing updates, St Marys Boxing club are proud to announce we now have clearance to start back training with outdoor social distancing park sessions!
We will be starting off our summer training, close to the club at Luton recreational ground, Capstone Road, Chatham, ME7 3JE and will be meeting in the car park.
From Wednesday June 3rd, we will be running the following weekly sessions:
6-7pm Non carded intermediate Juniors.
7-8pm Carded juniors.
Senior (17+) Boxercise/beginners 6-7pm
Carded seniors 7-8pm.
9.30-10.30am junior beginners/boxercise aged 7-10 years old
10.30-11.30am junior beginners/boxercise aged 11-16 years old.
Our coaching team have come up with strategies of adapting sessions, in order to follow strict social distancing rules.
There will have several coaches present, which will allow us to keep to the guideline of 1 coach- 5 boxers ratio (all working at least 2 metres apart using cones), allowing for all members to exercise safetly.
This is the first step towards getting back into full training back at the club and hope you will be in a position to join/rejoin the team.
We hope this is welcome in news to you and look forward to seeing you there!
