Sanders gets his season off to a good start in Essex

Date: Tue 8th December 2015
Two other St Marys boxers were in action at the same time in Essex Last sat (Oct 10th). 14 year old Hayden Sanders took a bout at just a few hours’ notice, but used his superior skills to gain a unanimous points victory against the more experienced C. Francis, to get his seasons off to a good start. Sanders has now won 6 of his last 7 bouts, with his one is being a controversial one in the final of the Hull Box cup in June. 16 year old Jack Dickman made his debut, against an opponent from East London Boxing academy. When he stuck to his boxing, Chatham based Dickman was outscoring his shorter opponent, but his strong opponent dragged him into a toe to toe battle and that proved Dickmans undoing, losing in the third round.
