National youth cadet championships southern counties 2020

 St Mary’s Luke carter was in action down in Southampton Wednesday evening in the southern area youth cadet u56kg semi final against Giorgio Visioli (Guilford)

 

Visioli edged the first round beating carter to the punch and having the better of the exchanges. 

Second round carter was on Visioli not waiting for his opponent and starting and finishing most exchanges, landing some heavy shots. 

Third round was close, both lads giving their all to get the decision, carter seemed to be in front with Visioli tiring when the referee stopped the bout for the doctor to look at Visioli nose bleed, this gave both a breather and Visioli finished the stronger. Judges awarded a split points victory to Visioli.
