Everyone at St Marys is very proud of Karols achievement and it couldn't happen to a more hardworking boxer. Karol will still be based at St Marys Boxing club, but will also be training Thursday-Sunday at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield every 2 weeks and will trying to work his way onto the full time podium squad. Karol has an outside chance of being selected for a qualifyer for Tokyo Olympics next year, but if selectors feel he is too young and select older, more experienced boxers, then the 18 year old can turn his focus on represented England at the Commonwealth games in Birmingham in 2022. Time will tell, but if he stays focussed, the sky is the limit for the Chatham teenager.
